By purchasing our dried pineapple you are making more of an impact than you may think. 'From Grandmas' Gardens Dried Pineapple' is the product of a social enterprise project in Luwero, Uganda.

With Grandmas Gardens we provide tools, seeds, land, education, and now a fruit drying facility and food processing training for an impoverished community in need of a sustainable, self-sufficient income.

The grandmas are the caregivers and the heads of their families, often with a household full of grandchildren and adopted children after poverty and disease in rural Africa has created a generational gap.
